Terms of Service

1. Agreement To These Terms

By booking a job with Toronto Quick Junk Removal or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a business, a landlord, an estate, or a property owner, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Services We Provide

We provide junk removal and waste disposal services across Toronto and the GTA, including:

  • Residential junk removal
  • Furniture, couch, and mattress removal
  • Appliance and refrigerator removal
  • Estate, hoarding, basement, garage, and attic cleanouts
  • Move-out, eviction, and storage unit cleanouts
  • Hot tub and shed removal
  • Yard waste, tire, scrap metal, carpet, and e-waste removal
  • Commercial, office, retail, and warehouse clearance
  • Construction debris, renovation waste, and concrete removal

3. Quotes And Pricing

Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are based on the volume your items occupy in our truck, not on time spent. A price band may be given by phone or from photographs. The binding price is the figure the crew confirms on site before any items are loaded.

Quoted prices include the crew, the vehicle, fuel, loading, transfer station fees, and disposal. A flat rush surcharge applies to same-day bookings and is disclosed at the time of booking. Per-unit items such as appliances, mattresses, hot tubs, and sheds are priced separately as published on the relevant service pages.

If the volume or nature of the items differs materially from what was described, the crew will present a revised price before starting. You may decline at that point at no cost.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other terms have been agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit card, debit, and e-transfer. Commercial accounts may be invoiced where arranged in advance.

5. Booking, Rescheduling, And Cancellation

Arrival windows are confirmed when you book and the crew will contact you before arriving. Windows are estimates and may shift due to traffic, weather, or a preceding job overrunning.

You may cancel or reschedule at no charge with reasonable notice, ideally before the crew is dispatched. If our crew arrives at the agreed time and cannot access the site or the job is cancelled on the spot, we may charge a call-out fee to cover the trip.

6. Items We Cannot Accept

For safety and legal reasons we cannot remove:

  • Propane tanks
  • Paints
  • Solvents
  • Fuel
  • Motor oil
  • Anti-freeze
  • Asbestos-containing materials
  • Biomedical, radioactive, or explosive materials
  • Any other material classed as hazardous waste in Ontario

Where we identify such items during a job, we will set them aside and tell you which municipal household hazardous waste depot accepts them. If hazardous material is concealed within a load without our knowledge, you remain responsible for any resulting costs or penalties.

7. Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure we have safe and lawful access to the property and the items
  • Remove or clearly identify anything that is not to be taken
  • Confirm you own the items or are authorised to dispose of them
  • Disclose hazardous materials, pest infestations, or biohazards before we start
  • Arrange building access, dock bookings, and elevator slots where the building requires them, or ask us to do so in advance

Once an item is loaded it is treated as abandoned and routed to donation, recycling, or disposal. We cannot retrieve items after collection.

8. Property And Damage

Our crews take reasonable care, use floor and doorway protection, and dismantle items where necessary to avoid damage. We carry $2 million general liability insurance and are WSIB compliant. Report any damage to us within 48 hours of the job so we can investigate.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for wear revealed once items are removed, or for damage arising from structural conditions we were not told about.

9. Disposal, Donation, And Recycling

We sort loads and route usable items to donation partners and recyclable materials to licensed recyclers, diverting up to 60% of a typical load from landfill. Donation is subject to the receiving charity accepting the item and cannot be guaranteed for any specific piece. Donation receipts are provided where the charity issues them.

10. Limitation Of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost rent, delayed closings, or missed deadlines.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and layout, is the property of Toronto Quick Junk Removal and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce it without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The version published here at the time of your booking is the one that applies to that job.
