What Is Yard Waste Removal?
Yard waste removal in Toronto covers tree branches, brush, sod rolls, topsoil bags, mulch piles, and garden debris from residential properties. Organic material is routed to composting facilities and wood waste chipped at volume - keeping yard debris out of general landfill. Toronto does collect yard waste, but within weekly limits and with conditions: paper bags or bundles under a set length and weight, only on the correct collection week. The Hedge Came Out
A mature cedar hedge produces a genuinely enormous volume of green waste, far past anything the City will take in a week. It is also awkward, springy material that fills a truck fast. This is our most common yard waste call.
The Landscaper Does Not Haul
Plenty of landscapers price labour only and leave the debris pile behind, or charge a premium to take it. Booking the haul separately is usually cheaper and can be scheduled for the day they finish.
The Lawn Was Lifted
Sod and soil are the heaviest material we handle short of concrete. A pile that does not look like much can be well over a tonne, which is why we price these by weight rather than by how full the truck looks.
It Has Been Sitting All Season
